Do not scorn your dignity by inferiority complex or jealously. You often commit the mistake of comparing your looks, health, status and other worldly attainments with those whom you regard as better. You tend to compare your weaknesses with others strengths.
Instead, you should try to ponder over and expand your plus points, your potentials. Every one has some good and bad qualities. You should strive for the best in your own capacity. Identify your capabilities. See the good howsoever small that may be, that is present in your today’s life, this will inspire instant hope and courage and pave the way for your further refinement.
Competition is good provided it is healthy, driven by sportive spirit, and induces the zeal for ascent. If governed by prudence of your matured thinking, it will support your progress. Otherwise, better avoid it. Set your own goals with respect to your present and concentrate your mind and efforts to achieve them in best possible ways by enhancing your good qualities.
