Positive changes occur in life, when we come out of our own comfort zone and take a firm stand against those mistakes, which we had been making, consciously or unconsciously, till now. Everyone wants to progress and grow, but the desired changes can be achieved only when we relinquish our comfortable life and struggle against our inherent weaknesses, which have impeded our way till now.
Why does it happen that every seeker of success does not get the desired outcome? Everyone wants to succeed and almost everyone makes efforts for it. Yet, only a few people get the success they aspire for. If we analyze our failures honestly, then probably, we can get the answer. But, how many of us do this analysis or even want to do it? Most of the people do aspire for success, but do not want to make any special efforts to achieve their goal. They just want to get everything without improving their mindsets. They do not want to leave their comfortable life. But, it must be realized that one needs to struggle for success and make sacrifices.
There are basically two types of hurdles in our path to success–One is internal; the other is external. Internal obstacles are more significant as compared to the external situation, because we do not have complete control over the latter. We can control them only to a limited extent. Thus, the former is more important. This is the aspect which can be controlled easily. Our success and failure largely depend on it. Actually, the biggest hurdle to our success is our internal weakness, which deviates us from our aim. Usually those people fail, who surrender before their weaknesses. It has to be remembered that one has to pay the price of the thing one desires. One may get something by luck, but such a success can neither make one happy, nor get inner contentment.
There are numerous impediments on the path to success, which need to be known, understood, accepted and eliminated. Mostly people accept failures as their destiny and stop making further efforts. They get extremely frustrated and disappointed with their failure and this frustration gives rise to pessimism. In this state, the person thinks more and more about his failures and the consequent negative results which makes him weaker. Most of these people are those who accept their failure because they do not want to strive more. They want that they should get the desired success with little efforts; and when this does not happen, they accept the failure as their destiny. On the other hand are those, who do continue their efforts, but not in proper direction. However, success can be obtained only if efforts are made in the right direction.
In order to be successful, we may adopt the ‘Law of Reciprocity’, which is a mathematical formula. Though this may sound a bit strange, but its results are miraculous. We can attain success if we can analyze our failures and bring the necessary improvement in ourselves. The theory was envisaged by Carl Jacobi. At a very young age, he developed an understanding of many subjects. But, by the time he reached his youth, he focused his attention on mathematics. Thus, by the age of twenty-five, he became a professor in a university. He worked prominently on such a branch of mathematics, which can suggest solutions to the toughest problems of our daily life.
The name of this branch of mathematics is–Inversion. But, how can the theory of inversion help in solving the problems of our life? For this, we should think about something we desired, but were not able to get it. Then we should analyze the reasons of our failure. If we can undertake this analysis honestly, we would definitely find out the actual reason for our failure. Whatever may be the reason, we would have to know, understand and accept it. Now we should focus on it and find out a solution.
There is, perhaps some weakness of our personality behind our failure, which we should struggle with and overpower, because we get success only when we have eliminated the causes of our failures. The theory of inversion emphasizes that the solution to the problem lies in its cause. The problem gets removed when the reasons for it are eliminated. This is possible only when we come out of our comfort zone and stand up firmly against our weaknesses. This is tough, no doubt, but in it lies hidden the secret of success.
